Gilles Latrémouille is a licensed psychotherapist, a Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner and a life coach. He is fascinated by just about everything that surrounds him. His greatest fascination remains with people, the way they think, act, react, and communicate.
- In 1995, Gilles founded "Kiatou Zootherapy / Wilderness Therapy" and during the first four years, while working with young offenders, he developed a therapeutic and rehabilitation program.
- From 1993 to 1996, Gilles facilitated numerous workshops on "Interpersonal Communication and Interaction" in hospitals, homes for seniors, different non-profit organizations and private companies. He now facilitates workshops on suicide prevention.
- In 1990, he co-founded "l'Association des sauveteurs et secouristes de l'Outaouais" (ASSO), a non-profit organization uniting first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first respond instructors. As a first aid, CPR and first respond senior instructor, Gilles was responsible for many workshops, both for l’ASSO and the Canadian Red Cross.
- In 1985, he founded "Kiatou Expedition" and catered for people from around the world, offering adventures in hundreds of dog sled and canoe camping expeditions.
- In 1968, Gilles founded "Assurances Latrémouille", an insurance brokerage firm specializing in commercial insurance and difficult to place risks.
- He also worked as a construction estimator and project manager for his father's construction firm.
- Over the years, Gilles and his work were the topic of many newspapers articles and also of several television and radio programs and interviews. One in particular, an hour long documentary, dealt with Kiatou’s program and was called "Des Mentors et des rêves" (Mentors and Dreams). Gilles also caught Justice Canada’s attention regarding his innovative therapeutic program.
- Gilles has always been active in the community. For many years he was a member of his Regional Development Agency’s board of director. He is a now a member of the following organizations : Quebec Professional Psychotherapist Syndicate, Quebec Alternative Medicine Corporation, Zootherapy Québec, The Human Animal Bond Association of Canada, Québec NLP Association, Suicide Détour.

At Kiatou, Gail Bird Necklace, B.A., CPC, is in charge of "Life Coaching" the parents.
Mrs. Bird Necklace as worked in Human Services and with at-risk individuals for over a decade. She has received Life Coach training at The Academy for Coach Training in Bellevue, Washington.
Gail is the mother of four grown children. She brings priceless experience to her work with the parents of our students. Her youngest son is a graduate from Kiatou.
